Panel on Women in Communications

Women make up over 50% of the workforce in parts of Europe and the US and according to recruitment specialists, 70% of the people employed in internal communication are women. So why are there so few women Communication Directors?

Silvia Cambie, author of International Communications Strategy, leads a panel with Sandra Macleod, CEO of Echo Research, Christina Fee of the BBC, Bieneosa Ebite, MD of Bright Star Public Relations and Maria Andren, Head of Channels at Tetra Pak.

Topics that will be covered include:

● How they and others have broken through the glass ceiling ● What you can do to promote yourself ● How your organisation needs to change and what you can do about it

The panel discussion takes place at the simplysummit event in London on Wednesday 21st April from 15:50-16:50.

You can get involved in the debate by logging on to a virtual forum. It's completely free and you can see, hear and pose questions to panellists at the conference from the comfort of your own desk.
