Launching a Sports Law group - Thomas Eggar LLP
Thomas Eggar LLP is a recognised leading law firm in the South, offering both Commercial and Private Client services.
By drawing on existing sports expertise within the firm, Thomas Eggar LLP wanted to provide a comprehensive service covering the needs of both the commercial sports organisation and the individual sportsperson, and formed a Sports Law group.
The services of Bright Star Public Relations was engaged to launch the Sports Law group, with the purpose of raising awareness of the new group within the legal industry and with sports individuals and organisations.
Bright Star Public Relations devised media strategies for the legal trade media and the national media. England cricketer and Thomas Eggar LLP Ambassador Matt Prior was utilised for key interviews, timed just before the Stanford Superseries. Journalists were briefed about the work of Thomas Eggar LLP’s Sports Group and as a result, every journalist that interviewed Matt Prior included details of the role of Thomas Eggar LLP in their articles.
The launch activity exceeded the client’s expectations and positive coverage was achieved for Thomas Eggar LLP and Matt Prior.
