Our story
Bright Star Public Relations was established by Bieneosa Ebite in 2007, after eight years experience of working in the Public Relations industry. Bieneosa's qualifications include the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Diploma, the industry recognised qualification. Bieneosa has a passion for diversity and was a member of the CIPR's diversity committee in 2005. She is the chairperson for Ignite, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the benefits of cultural diversity in the PR industry. In addition, she sits on the Public Relations Consultants Association's Access Commission, which was set up in response to growing concerns about social mobility, internships, diversity and flexible working in the PR industry.
Bieneosa’s previous credentials include managing the in-house communications function at Fexco, one of Western Union’s UK representatives. During her time with Fexco she managed media relations, sponsorship opportunities, community partnerships and event management. Bieneosa's experience in this role gave her valuable insight and practical understanding of how to engage with multicultural and diverse communities in the UK.
Bieneosa also worked as a Regional Communication Manager for McDonald’s Restaurants, where she was responsible for the proactive and reactive public relations for 200 restaurants in London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Arguably one of the most challenging environments for a communications professional, Bieneosa was part of an award-winning team that contributed to the revitalisation of the brand by developing and sharing McDonald’s story of change.
Bright Star works in assocation with highly experienced public relations, marketing and design consultants to help create relevant, consistent and authentic campaigns for clients.
